What to Expect in Beginner Saxophone Lessons
The saxophone is a conical shaped instrument made up of brass with a single mouthpiece. The saxophone is made up of a thin metal conical tube of brass to form a bell like shape at the bottom. There are about 20 to 23 different tone holes of various sizes along the tube of the saxophone. These holes are then covered by keys which are further controlled by the buttons which are pressed by the users.
Many people have the mistaken impression that it is easy to become a master saxophonist, when in reality it involves many hours of practice to achieve. A person who wants to start learning saxophone in Singapore should be able to think broadly and should also have innovative ideas.
Beginner Saxophonists need to follow some special steps before they start learning the saxophone. When playing, the mouthpiece of the saxophone should not be entirely put in the mouth. While playing the saxophone, the lower lip should be getting support from the lower teeth while they touch the reed. Upper teeth should create a very light pressure while it is being rested on the mouthpiece. The upper lip should also be closed completely in order to make it air tight. The sound quality that the saxophone produces depends on three things. The first is on the air pressure that comes from the diaphragm. Second is on the vibration that the mouth and reed produce when they make contact. And last, is on the position of the tongue in the mouth.
One thing that helps a beginner saxophonist learn quickly and efficiently is focused concentration. To master the saxophone it is important to have a control on your mind. Some short sessions should be held in which you can focus on what you just played rather than one long session in which you will never be able to concentrate while you are practicing. By following these rules, you take less amount of time. To become a master of the saxophone, one should practice for at least an hour regularly, while to become a professional more amount of time is spent on the practice. You can practice it all day long, but it is helpful till the time you are able to concentrate.
The practice sessions should be split up if you start to feel that it is getting boring to see through. You can divide your practice sessions according to your availability. Long tones are the hardest to sustain when your concentration is not perfect. If you can focus on this tone while you practice, then you can definitely become the next superstar.
You should have a pencil available for writing down any problems and solutions to those problems that you may encounter. Closing the eyes while practicing has been found to be a great help in improving concentration. Don’t forget to practice just because you don’t have the time. People do not usually remember about their past. Writing down everything will enable you to analyze everything from your weakness to your strong points. It will keep you abreast of your learning and your music.

im german italin and irish. i have brown eyes and thin light eye brows.
n light freckles. i look absolutely ugly with any brass tone.
. my hairs not that long its just about under my shoulders .
im crazy my hair has been purple , pink all kinds of colors. lol
time to find the right color to stick with. to bad i dont have any pics i can show you guys.
