Buying Wine Online - The Early Years
The Internet has been a tricky place for wine stores in the past.
Even today there is a multitude of sites to choose from around the world.
In the past few years, many wine sites have spent large amounts investigating and analyzing their competitors and getting a better understanding their faults and weaknesses.
Extensive market research was undertaken to determine what the consumer wanted. The first and foremost problem with a number of wine sites was that it was too complex and took too long to get to the check out on the site.
The next drawback was that visitors felt that there were just too many steps to go through to actually A number of wine sites have taken heed of this and have reduced the buying process to just three clicks.
Online shoppers also indicated that they wanted more variety than just wine. Customers were also looking to buy a range of alcohol whether it was beer, spirits, local or international wine or liqueurs.
Another concern that was highlighted was the safe transport of wine to the buyer. They were concerned that their wine would not be handled with due care during transport and whether the wine was covered in the event of breakage during transport.
Availability was also another concern that was raised amongst consumers. Some stores found that they could not guarantee to have all advertised and listed wines in stock. Some stores pooled their resources, offering to fill any inventory shortages for each other to ensure that customers will have all wines available to them.
Finally, internet security was also brought up as another concern. Customers wanted to be sure that when they buy their wine online, their payment details would be secure and would not fall into the hands of a third party. With the advancements and increased security payment software over recent years, credit card payments and Paypal are taken as the most common forms of payment by online wine stores.
The good news for consumers is that online wine sites are listening and have taken steps to address the consumer's issues, making buying wine online an easy and streamlined process.

What are some good romantic movies, preferably vintage?
Something not about war, something similar to a walk to remember or pretty in pink.
The blatant plot of a really cool guy falling for a somewhat uncool girl.
Doesn't have to be comedy, thanks.
An Affair To Remember
Casablanca
Sleepless in Seattle (Not vintage but kinda based on Affair To Remember)
Sabrina (Although I like the re make with Harrison Ford better)
