Indonesia Boutique Hotels – Find Out What’s New!
There are numerous luxury Indonesia boutique hotels sprawled around Indonesia and its many islands. Almost all the hotels are naturally straddling the predominantly touristy sites, for example Bali and the capital city of Jakarta, however there are also undiscovered gems within the country's numerous other sites.
Amanjiwo, Java
The Amanjiwo is a magnificent boutique resort set high in the hills of central Java, overlooking the Burobudur, a 1300-year-old Buddhist sanctuary and one of Indonesia’s most famous attractions. The luxury hotel replicates that ancient splendour, with the added touch of modern luxury.
Rooms and Rates
There are just 36 rooms at the Amanjiwo, boasting a grand interior of marble and posts and traditional rattan furniture. Rates begin at $700, and there are some great deals, like the hotel’s cultural trail offer, which lasts until 30th April 2010.
Desa Seni
Situated in a quiet corner of Bali is the Desa Seni resort, offering traditional Balinese living style, with luxury, of course. The boutique hotel looks like a traditional village, consisting of antique village houses and overall surroundings.
Rooms and Rates
Each of the 12 guest houses are comfortable and immaculately traditional, but with modern amenities. Prices debut at $150, while the hotel avails a variety of discounts and detox therapies and also amazing group discounts.
Alila Villas Uluwatu, Bali
The Alila Villas Uluwatu is an impressively modern, stylish, luxurious boutique resort set by the coast of Denpasar, Bali. The hotel exhibits a designer-like high-end design, with an infinity-edge pool, state-of-the-art fitness centre, trendy restaurants, and such.
Rooms and Rates
The hotel has 65 guest rooms, including two cliffside villas with private swimming pools. Until 31st March 2010, the hotel has some great promotions, with rates starting at $580 per night, for a minimum of five nights stay.
Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan, Bali
Located in the secluded central hills of Bali is the incredibly scenic Four Seasons Resort Bali. The build and design is luxuriously modern, and the overall decor is arguably spectacular, with suspended lotus ponds, terraced slopes, and such, equipped with views of the Ayung river.
Rooms and Rates
There are just 54 luxurious rooms and suites, with rates starting at about $460. The hotel has several great packages and deals as well.
The great thing about the luxury hotels here is that competition is high, which means that they each try to offer the best services, exclusivity, luxury and amenities altogether. There aren’t many new luxury boutique hotels in Indonesia, but there are some exceptionally unique ones around.

My bf of a year who says that he is in love with me, first he bought me a black and cream vintage small scarf (from 1969) (which he washed) from Portobello market, with pen marks on it.
I told him that I didn't like stained old items, and gave it back to him.
Then he bought me a medium sized London notebook from the British Museum, with small bits of London history written inside.
I was hurt because I thought that this present was more for a friend than a gf, he thought that it was great cause I could write some thoughts in it, and he said that he loved notebooks.
He than told me furiously that he knows 3 different girls that would love the vintage stained scarf.
What do you think about the notebook as a birthday present for a gf of a year?

Moog cuts the bull, reveals Minitaur analogue synth (video) (Engadget)
What's that noise? The sound of a thousand synth-lovers' hearts melting. Why?
Because the godfather of bass, Moog, has just raised the muleta on its
forthcoming analogue Minitaur bass synth. Inspired by the legendary Taurus
range of pedals, the Minitaur (get it?) doles up low-frequency loveliness via
two square / saw oscillators and Moog's notorious "ladder filter," imparting
its distinctive character on all that passes through it. The retro pots and
metal casing scream vintage authenticity, but it's not all about looking back.
Sure, the Minitaur might accept old skool CV signals, but it also does MIDI
over USB, so its small understated footprint will fit-in just fine, whatever
your set-up. With a $679 price tag when it launches in spring, it'll cause
more damage to your bass cones than your wallet. Check the videos after the
